The more time Ruby spends in India, the more she falls in love with it. Every day brings a new adventure, experience, or even challenge. Everything featured in the itineraries is based on her personal experiences—things she discovered through staying in hostels, attending retreats and courses, having conversations over chai, receiving recommendations from friends, couch surfing, volunteering, and spending extended periods in places to truly get to know them.
The tours offered are not sanitised air-conditioned bus holidays with quick stops. Instead, they aim to provide an experience of the ‘Real India.’ From train travel and visits to off-the-beaten-track villages to enjoying homemade meals with families, participating in Hindu rituals, celebrating festivals, and sharing langar meals with thousands of pilgrims at the Golden Temple, the focus is on authenticity and immersion.
While the tours are designed to provide as many enriching experiences as possible, Ruby also believes in the importance of downtime. Travellers are given opportunities to relax, spend time away from the group, and explore independently to create their adventures. In smaller towns, there’s ample free time, and some accommodations include swimming pools for added relaxation.
For those wanting to arrive in India early or extend their trip afterwards, Ruby can assist with planning additional activities, booking hotels, and arranging taxis and guides. She’s happy to provide ideas and help organize an extended stay.
For more information about these tours, Ruby can be contacted via email or WhatsApp. When she is in India, she is unavailable on her UK number but can receive calls on WhatsApp.
