We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. When we arrive at the hotel, we will rest and freshen up before we head out for some sightseeing. Our first stop will be a cycle rickshaw tour around the bustling market areas of Old Delhi, then we’ll head over to India Gate, a war memorial monument and popular evening hangout place for locals. In the evening, a pub is close to the hotel if you would like to raise a glass to the start of our tour.

After breakfast, we’ll set off on our journey to Jaipur. The drive will take approximately six hours, with stops for lunch and loo breaks. Upon our arrival in Jaipur, we’ll check into our heritage hotel. You’ll have some leisurely time to unwind and enjoy the pool. Later, we’ll gather on the rooftop for a light-hearted Bollywood dance class, perfect for everyone, regardless of experience. It promises to be a delightful way to immerse ourselves in the vibrant culture of India.

Today, we’ll embark on a guided tour of Jaipur’s most iconic landmarks, including the stunning Amber Fort and the fascinating Jantar Mantar Observatory. As we explore the vibrant Pink City, we’ll immerse ourselves in its rich history and culture. In the afternoon, we’ll finish our tour at a cafe with a view of the magnificent Hawa Mahal, the perfect spot to take in the city’s beauty. For the evening, if you’d like to continue exploring you can either enjoy a Bollywood movie at the renowned Raj Mandir Cinema or opt for a tuk-tuk tour around the Pink City to see it come alive at night.

After breakfast, we’ll set off on a four-hour journey to Ranthambore National Park. As we leave the bustling city behind, you’ll notice the landscape gradually change and become more rugged as we approach the National Park. Upon arrival at our resort, you’ll have some time to relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings. Later in the day, we’ll head out on an evening safari, where, with a bit of luck, we may spot tigers in their natural habitat, along with other fascinating wildlife that call this park home. In the evening, we’ll gather around a cosy bonfire for a music and dance performance by local performers, making for a perfect end to the day.

Today, we’ll begin with an early start as we return to the National Park on another safari adventure. After returning to the resort, we’ll have breakfast and then the rest of the day is yours to relax and unwind at your own pace, whether by the pool, in the gardens, or simply enjoying the serene surroundings. For those interested, there is an opportunity to visit a Women’s Co-Operative, where local artisans create beautiful crafts that are sold throughout India. This visit offers a chance to learn about the inspiring work of the organisation, supporting women in the community and preserving traditional crafts. You can learn more about the organisation here.

After breakfast, we’ll set off on a drive to Pushkar, a Holy lakeside town. Our hotel is conveniently located just a ten-minute walk from Pushkar Lake, a serene spot surrounded by shops, rooftop cafés and restaurants. Pushkar is a pilgrimage site, where you’ll often see devotees taking a dip in the holy lake, their vibrant sarees adding splashes of colour to the peaceful setting. You’ll have plenty of free time here to explore at your own pace, whether it’s browsing the local shops, enjoying a quiet moment by the lake, or simply soaking in the unique atmosphere. In the evening, we’ll gather for dinner by the lake at one of the rooftop restaurants.

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a walking tour of Pushkar. First, we’ll stroll around the lake, learning about its sacred ghats. The highlight of the day will be participating in a Puja, a traditional Hindu ritual conducted by a Brahmin Priest by the lake. Finally, we’ll visit the renowned Brahma Temple, the only one of its kind in India. After a free afternoon, we’ll meet again in the evening to watch the Aarti ceremony by the lake.

Today is yours to relax and enjoy at your leisure. For those who wish, there are several optional experiences to make the day memorable – join a yoga session, try a cooking class, take a sunrise hike to a temple, or enjoy a sunset hike to a different temple.

After breakfast, we’ll set off to Jodhpur with a stop on the way at a village homestay. We’ll spend the afternoon here with a family in their traditional village home. We will eat food cooked traditionally on an open fire, dress up in Rajasthani clothing, get henna tattoos, and learn about dhurrie weaving. In the early evening, we will complete the drive to Jodhpur and check into our hotel. Our hotel is a heritage property in the old town, and it has a rooftop restaurant with a view of the fort.

Today, we’ll walk from our hotel to visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort and the serene Jaswant Thada. The afternoon is yours to explore at your leisure, with the option to take participate in our fun blue photo competition around the city’s vibrant streets!

After breakfast, we will drive to Jaisalmer. The journey is around 6 hours with plenty of stops on the way. We will be staying in a tent right in the desert. At sunset, we’ll head out to the dunes and enjoy the rolling sand views. As night falls, we’ll enjoy some music and dance performances by some folk artists, and then we’ll have dinner at the camp.

After breakfast, we’ll head to Jaisalmer for a tour of the historic fort and Havelis. Jaisalmer is home to the only Living Fort in Asia. In the evening, we’ll watch the city come alight as people light diyas outside their homes for Diwali. We’ll enjoy the festivities with a local family. We can finish our day on our hotel rooftop, watching as the sky lights up with fireworks.

Today, after the high of celebrating Diwali, you’ll have free time to explore the city, take in the views, and enjoy some last-minute shopping. In the evening, we’ll gather for a rooftop dinner, savouring local flavours while watching the sun set over the golden city before boarding an overnight train back to Delhi.

We’ll have breakfast on the train before checking into our hotel and setting out for our final sightseeing adventures in Delhi. In the evening, we’ll go for a farewell dinner and toast to the end of our journey.
